Panic Attacks Anxiety Disorder

Panic Attacks Anxiety Disorder – what is it and how do you know if you are suffering from it?

Well first I want to mention that anxiety and panic are two separate issues, however a person may suffer from both and in fact if you suffer from anxiety disorder it can easily evolve into panic disorder.

Anxiety is a normal response of the human body and everyone will become anxious at some stage in some occasions.  People get anxious over things like starting a new job, going on a date, speaking in front of a crowd and much more, and this is perfectly normal.  However, it is when a person becomes anxious for no apparent reason that it becomes a problem.

People suffering from anxiety disorder will feel anxious all the time and often they don’t even know the exact reason for their anxiety.  They will have a fear of something happening that is completely irrational, but once the body starts acting in this irrational way it is very hard to stop.

When a person is overly anxious all the time, it can then develop into a panic attack.  Panic attacks don’t always begin with an anxiety disorder and often they will begin out of the blue with no warning.

A panic attack can come on very suddenly and can be very scary.  During a panic attack you might experience an overwhelming sense of fear, difficulty breathing, dizziness, tightness in the chest and possibly some other symptoms.

A panic attack is a very real physical response and can be very unexpected and frightening and people will often think they are having a heart attack when they first experience it.

More anxiety can then set in over having another panic attack and this added anxiety can in fact product further attacks.

The combination of panic attacks anxiety disorder can become quite bad and literally consume all your thoughts and your life.  Once a person is caught up in the cycle of attacks it can be hard to get out of it and back to a normal life.

The good news is that it is possible and you need to make that decision to overcome this disorder and take back control of your life.
