Recognizing Panic Attacks Symptoms May Help Reduce the Severity of Your Attacks

Panic attacks and disorder are refereed to a period of acute discomfort and intense fear. If you are suffering from this disorder, you are not a stand alone case. Rather, studies have found that nearly 5% of world’s human population has suffered from this disorder in some phase of their life.

Phobias, lack of vitamin B, improper diet, hereditary factors, stress and personal losses cause this disorder in people.

The common panic attack symptoms are heart palpatations, excessive sweating, choking, chest pain, discomfort, nausea, abdominal stress and respiratory problems.

However, these panic attacks symptoms in some cases might be confusing. The reason behind the confusion is the commonality of symptoms between panic attack, heart attack, respiratory problems and asthma. Hence, when you suffer from these symptoms it is advisable to call a doctor. The physician will analyze the symptoms properly and make sure that they are in fact a panic attack and not something else.

Panic disorder is quite frightening and often a visit to the doctor to rule out any other reason for the symptoms, can be quite good to put your mind at ease.  Once you know that your symptoms were the result of a panic attack then you can relax and not worry that there could be something more serious wrong.

Although it is hard to relax after experiencing a panic attack as there is often an overwhelming fear of having another attack.  This fear is often what causes more attacks which can then lead to a full panic disorder.

If you have suffered from a panic attack or if you suffer from them on a regular basis then you should seek help, after all this condition is curable with the right help.
